Las Vegas Information Guide
The insiders guide to Las Vegas ways!
In 2004 over 37 million tourists traveled to Las Vegas and each of these tourists spent on average $124 on shopping while visiting (for an article in the Las Vegas Review Journal detailing this click here). This website is built to assist these visitors in finding the best ways to both save and spend money while visiting Las Vegas.

Each visitor to Las Vegas is inundated with offers and requests to spend money from the minute they step off their arriving flight. These initiations come in many forms from discounted show tickets, slashed hotel room rates, amusement parks, bungy jumping and many many others. Because of the many choices confronted by visitors to Las Vegas, LasVegasInformationGuide.org has compiled a list of suggestions for the Vegas traveler.
1. Prepare, prepare, prepare...

It is important that Las Vegas visitors prepare for their trip before arriving. Make sure that you have hotel reservations before you step off of the plane. This will not only help you save money due to avoiding "same night" rates but also will insure that you have a room and not just a bunch of hotels saying "sorry... no vacancy".

2. Budget

Ahh, not the "B" word! And in Las Vegas all the less... Yes, unfortunately a budget is priceless in Las Vegas. Just how much money do you have with you and how much can you afford to go home without? The story of the visitor that lost all his money and pawned his plane ticket home is not an urban ledged, this stuff really happens and the less information you have about your finances the easier and faster it does. Fortunately, with a budget (and self control) you can avoid all that and hopefully go home with all the money you intended to.

3. Understand your abilities...

It takes more then sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt to make you a competitive poker player. Please understand that hotels and built to generate money and that the best customers for these hotels and people that think they are good... people like you and me. Gambling is a part of the Vegas lifestyle.... well, it is probably the tradition of Las Vegas but if you look at it as a way for you to make money you are either a member of a very small group of professional or you are a member of a very large group of "soon-to-be-broke" tourists who fancy themselves professionals.
Remember that Las Vegas is a vacation and to have fun while you are here. Follow the simple tips above and you will be on your way to a great time.
